Íslenska 3 (A2.1)

About the course

If you have finished level 2 then Icelandic 3 is your next step in your learning process. Level 3 is also suitable for students who have acquired the basics in Icelandic up to this point. Vocabulary is still expanded with selected topics relating to practical social aspects of life in Iceland. Students grow in their confidence to speak, using simple syntax, as they continue to practice their speaking, understanding, reading and writing in Icelandic through diverse learning methods. Grammar is taken further on the basis of what has been learned in level 1 and 2.* Participants will be evaluated at the end of the course and advised on further Icelandic studies.

Icelandic courses are based on the Curriculum of Icelandic for Foreigners published by the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture.

Attendance required: 75%

Please note that the course can only start if the minimum participation requirement is met.

A registered student is required to move to a different level / course, if necessary.

*Each course is adapted to the relative group of individuals and emphasis may therefore slightly vary between student groups. A placement test prior to the course is included in the course fee for those who need an assessment of their learning level.

Upplýsingar á íslensku:

Námskeiðið er framhald af íslensku 2 og hentar einnig þeim sem hafa öðlast grunnfærni í íslensku sem nemur fyrsta og öðru stigi. Orðaforðinn er aukinn og tengist samfélagslegum þáttum daglegs lífs á Íslandi. Sjálfstraust nemenda til að tjá sig á íslensku eykst með áframhaldandi þjálfun  í að tala, skilja, lesa og rita íslensku  með fjölbreyttum kennsluaðferðum. Framhald er á málfræðináminu á grunni þess sem nemendur hafa þegar lært í íslensku 1 og 2.* Kunnátta þátttakenda er metin í lok námskeiðsins og þeim veitt ráðgjöf um næstu skref í íslenskunámi sínu.

Nauðsynlegt er að ljúka 75% mætingu til að fá útskriftarskírteini.

Athugaðu að námskeið er einungis haldið ef lágmarksþátttaka næst. 

*Hvert námskeið er aðlagað viðkomandi nemendahópi og geta því áherslur verið mismunandi milli hópa. Stöðumat í upphafi námskeiðs er innifalið í námskeiðsgjaldinu fyrir þá sem þess þurfa til að vita hvaða stig hentar þeim í íslenskunáminu.
